NEPMA Fall Training 2026

The New England Pest Management Association, NEPMA, is pleased to present its 2026 Fall Training—a convenient, high-quality virtual learning experience designed for pest management professionals across New England. Taking place November 3–5, this three-day program offers focused, expert-led sessions from 8 - 950am Eastern each day, allowing attendees to gain valuable insights while minimizing disruption to their work schedules. All sessions will be approved for continuing education (CE) credits in the New England states (ME, MA, NH, RI, VT)

This year’s program covers a range of timely and essential topics for today’s pest management professionals.

Pricing & Attendance Policy:

• NEPMA Members: $100, Non-NEPMA Members: $125
• The registration fee covers the 3-day training program.
• The fee cannot be prorated for partial attendance.
• No refunds will be issued if you are unable to attend all three days.

Cancellation Policy:

• On or before October 31, 2026: 90% of total registration fee.
• Beginning November 1, 2026: No refunds due to cancellation. 

For Group/Company Registrations:

• You will be required to enter complete contact information for each registrant. 
• For NH Pesticide Applicator License holders, the home address must be the address that the NH license is mailed to.
• You will be required to enter the applicable state Pesticide Applicator License #'s for each registrant.

Presenter Biographies

Stan Cope, also affectionately known as "Captain Stan The Mosquito Man" joined Rose Pest Solutions as director of technical services in 2023. Cope previously assisted as an educator for the company, conducting technical training seminars on mosquitoes and other insects over the years. Following Cope’s post-doctoral studies at UCLA, where he discovered a mosquito species that caused a malaria outbreak in San Diego, he was commissioned as a Navy lieutenant. Cope served in the U.S. Navy as a medical entomologist for more than 23 years. Cope directed the Armed Forces Pest Management Board and earned 24 ribbons and medals, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, for his leadership. While in the Navy, Cope held a variety of assignments, including conducting operational and research entomology in 18 countries and ultimately serving as director of the Armed Forces Pest Management Board as well as director of pest management in Washington D.C. where he had oversight of all aspects of pest management for the Department of Defense. Cope is a member of Pi Chi Omega.

Nancy Hinkle is the University of Georgia’s Veterinary Entomologist, focusing on insects and mites that affect animals, including livestock, pets, and wildlife. Because of her work with blood-feeding insects and external parasites, she is often asked to help people who feel crawling sensations or bites but can find no insect present. This condition—previously called Delusory Parasitosis or Ekbom Syndrome and now commonly referred to as “Delusional Infestation”—has become an important area of her work. Dr. Hinkle contributed a chapter to the 2024 book The Physician’s Guide to Delusional Infestation and wrote “Itches, Phobias, and Delusions” for the 11th Edition of the Mallis Handbook of Pest Control. She has delivered more than 170 presentations on the condition for pest management associations, industry conferences, and professional organizations across the country. She earned her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Medical Entomology from Auburn University and her Ph.D. from the University of Florida. She joined the University of Georgia in 2001 after nine years at the University of California.

Tim Husen, Ph.D., BCE, PHE, PCQI is the General Manager for Braman Termite and Pest Elimination. In this role, Tim supports Braman’s Operations, Sales and Marketing, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Procurement, Safety, Technical, and Training teams. Tim began his career in operational pest control at Waltham Services where he developed and directed technical and training operations and managed quality control and safety procedures, personnel and reporting. He also worked as a Technical Service Manager for Rollins Inc. where he provided a wide variety of technical support and guidance across the company including Operations, Marketing, and Training based out of Rollins Corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Tim then transitioned to the manufacturer side of the industry as a Technical Services Representative covering the Southeast US for BASF Professional and Specialty Solutions. Prior to joining Braman, Tim was a Technical Services Manager for Syngenta Professional Pest Management’s Midwest and Northeast US Sales Territories. In this role, Tim supported Syngenta PPM’s innovation and product launch platforms, as well as providing direct support to Syngenta PPM’s sales and marketing teams (and their customers). Dr. Husen is a subject matter expert on insect and rodent pest control tactics, products, and equipment with 28 years of experience in entomology and structural pest management. He is a board certified urban and public heath entomologist with 40 scientific, extension, or industry-trade publications and numerous presentations at scientific and pest management related events. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, a M.S. degree in entomology, and a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Outside of work, Tim’s family (wife Emily and daughter Colette) keep him busy, but he also makes time for bluegrass concerts/festivals, disc golf, and networking with other pest control professionals in the best industry on earth!

Stuart “Doc” Mitchell is a lifelong student - drawing upon a diverse background in health science, clinical psychology, veterinary science, entomology, and pest management science to pursue complex challenges. His approach integrates observational insights, consultative expertise, and professional experience to deliver innovative - science-based solutions. For over four decades - Doc has served the public health and pest management industries as a PCO technical director, NPMA technical director, PestWest technical director, ESA-BCE certification program director, consultant, expert-witness, columnist, author, lecturer, and speaker. Doc is dedicated to supporting public health initiatives and advancing pest management industry standards.

Jamel Sandidge is a Board Certified Entomologist and National Director of Technical Services for Nisus Corporation with more than 25 years of experience in the pest management industry. With advanced training in entomology, ecology, genetics, and insect behavior, he has spent his career studying how pest populations develop, disperse, adapt, and respond to management practices. In addition to his scientific and research background, Dr. Sandidge founded and operated BRS Pest Control and Consulting in the Midwest. Combining the perspectives of scientist, business owner, educator, and product developer, he helps pest management professionals better understand insect behavior, product use, insecticide resistance, public health pests, and the science behind effective pest management.
